Jay and I in front of the newly-dedicated Newport Beach Temple. It was beautiful and the grounds were also wonderful. No, your eyes are not deceiving you--the temple is salmon pink Posted by Picasa

Oh, we're cute. This is one of the many many self-portraits we have of ourselves where I just hold out the camera in front of us and shoot Posted by Picasa

In keeping with the pink-ness of the temple, the covers for pipes and things were also pink Posted by Picasa

The steeple of the temple, which looks a lot like the architecture of the missions in California Posted by Picasa

Jay and I went to Six Flags Magic Mountain with Jay's brother, Nathan who also lives in California and let us stay with him for the night in Calabasas. We went to Six Flags the day after Labor Day, the first day of school for California students, so the park was EMPTY. We didn't have to wait in any lines, but that also gave us less time to recover from the rides, so I got sick in the middle of the day and had to sit out of a couple rides. Sweet park Posted by Picasa
